Q: What does FotoStick® do?

A: FotoStick provides digital printing services on BackMagic™ - A proprietary, revolutionary new adhesive that is safe for use on all wall surfaces, including wall paper. It's printed onto a 5 mil reusable, vinyl sub straight.

Q: Does the website offer editing of images or graphics?

A: Yes. You can edit your photos on the FotoStick website once they've been uploaded.

Q: What formats do you accept?

A: FotoStick accepts any and all .jpg image files. We require a minimum 300 dpi for any images that are to be reproduced larger than 48". All other images will require a minimum of 72dpi. Remember, the output quality is only as good as the input quality of the image.

Q: What are your minimum image quality (resolution) requirements for an image?

A: Digital camera images require a minimum resolution of 2048x1536. This resolution is available on any camera with a mega pixel rating of 3 or more. Set your camera settings to the highest quality.

Scanned images require a minimum resolution of 300 dpi at 8"x10".

***We require a minimum 300 dpi for any images that are to be reproduced larger than 48". All other images will require a minimum of 72dpi.

Q: Will my digital printing look like it does on my computer screen?

A: Yes. Computer screen resolution and printer resolutions are different and they use different methods to display images. Computers us ppi or pixels per inch and printers use dpi or dots per inch to print. We process your images through our computers before printing to match color. The materials that we use to print on, FotoStick� will also affect the appearance of an image (glossy, matte, canvas, are coming soon).

A: Yes. Simply enter the quantity and type of each image you're ordering.

Q: Can I cancel or change my order?
A. No. Not at this time. In an effort to keep costs low and to pass along the savings, FotoStick™ uses is a fully automated, self-service web site. As we say throughout the checkout process, orders may not be changed or cancelled once submitted. We apologize for the inconvenience. We hope you understand that keeping our costs down and our turnaround times as fast as possible, we'll provide you with a great value.

Q: Do I get to see a proof of my artwork before printing?

A. Yes. There is a preview feature but there could be slight differences in what you see on-screen and the printed image. There are slight differences in how computer screens display images and the way a digital printer outputs the final product.

Q: How secure is the order process?
A: You can be assured our checkout process is very secure. We use the latest SSL (secure socket layer) to process your order.

Q: How can I check the status of my order?
A: Once your order is processed and scanned for shipping you will receive an email containing the USPS or UPS tracking number. That number can be used at the USPS and UPS websites for tracking. We produce all orders within 24 hours of receiving them so it would be difficult to keep in-process orders updated up-to-the-minute. A. Soon we will have a public access page where you can post images you'd like to share with all FotoStick members.

Q. How do I keep people from downloading my photos?

A. Don't share your album. By sharing an album you give access to those images. You can keep private images in one (or more) album and public images in an other.

Q. Should I save the paper backing my FotoStick™ comes with?

A. Yes. This is vital to moving your FotoStick™. Please save the paper backing your FotoStick™ came on. Also, if for any reason you need to return your FotoStick™, it has to have the original backing.

Q. How do I move my FotoStick™?

A. Know where it’s going. Be sure the surface is smooth and clean (but don’t use soap) wait until it’s dry and carefully remove the FotoStick™ from one wall and carry it to the new location and follow the rest of the instructions. Depending on how big your FotoStick is, you may need two sets of hands. If you are moving it a long way, put your FotoStick™ back on the original backing and move to your new location.

Q. What if I did not save the paper backing that my FotoStick™ came on and I want to move it a long distance?

A. Use another paper, like wax paper from the kitchen. Peel the FotoStick™ off the wall and place it on a clean surface – FotoStick SIDE UP – place the wax paper to cover the entire area and roll it up around any tube that is large enough. DO NOT FOLD your FotoStick™ as it will cause creases to appear.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: We offer a 30 day money back guarantee. If the custom products you receive differ materially from your original image or if the goods are otherwise flawed, then you may return the custom goods for a full refund, within 30 days of receiving your order.

We require that you notify FotoStick at returns@FotoStick.com to obtain a return authorization number before returning any goods to ensure that your return is handled quickly and accurately.
